A creative problem solver, passionate about developing business owners and organizational leaders with communication and marketing strategies. As the co-founder of a media production company in 2011, Vivian realized that clients needed more than just creative deliverables; they required a comprehensive communication plan to succeed.

In 2019 Vivian co-founded Tandem Works, where she focuses with the team on a human-centered approach to help teams align, re-imagine possibilities, tell strategic stories, and reach goals. She and the Tandem Works team have assisted countless businesses with marketing and social media strategies through strategic sessions, 1:1 coaching, online classes, workshops, and presentations. 

She is a creative leader with a wealth of experience enhancing communication and understanding for hundreds of industries and organizations. She has worked with big brands like Crayola, We-TV, The Discovery Channel, and Taco Bell, as well as scrappy startups, non-profits, colleges, and foundations. In addition, Vivian is a facilitating wizard with a knack for engaging in workshops and the ability to connect authentically, creating highly engaging experiences. 

Vivian is a natural mentor and an excellent communicator; She launched the Riding Tandem podcast to celebrate and encourage small business owners. 

With her vast experience, a knack for connection, and intelligent business strategies, Vivian creates an inspiring energy around her.

She graduated from Iowa State Univerity, and with her background in journalism, sociology, and photography, she has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that she applies to every project. 

Machaela’s ability to connect the dots between creative ideas and strategic plans is unparalleled. She brings a humorous flair and creativity to her collaborations, always approaching new ideas with an open mind. Her unique approach has helped her deliver high ROI and quality results for all her clients and partners. 

As a true storyteller at heart, Machaela has a passion for the community and people in it. She has served on various boards and commissions and worked with numerous organizations, bringing her collaborative spirit, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills to the table.
